Weekend closest to the New Moon- after dark until ??

 Star Party at Tecopa Hot Springs Resort. Next to Pastels Bistro at rear of main parking lot. Enjoy amazing galaxies, nebulas and other deep space images seen through the camera on a fabulous 11 inch Celestron telescope with all kinds of enhancements.  Bring a folding chair or blanket, a small flashlight  for getting around (red light is best), plenty of water and appropriate clothing for night viewing. Come early and enjoy a hot springs soak ($8) or wonderful dinner at Pastels Bistro.
